Why Weight Training Helps You Live Longer

For hundreds of years, mankind has been desperately looking for techniques to lengthen the normal person’s lifespan. From the earliest sciences to contemporary medicine, at last man has succeeded. For example, in the time of the Classical Rome, the typical lifespan at the time of birth was only 20 – 30 years. But today, when the average person is born, odds are he will live past his 64th birthday. And many are even living to a hundred.

No one thing is responsible for man’s amazing increase in lifespan. It’s a combination of many factors. And although many are looking at nutritional products such as fruta vida international, it seems that most scientists have pretty much concluded that one of the factors in improving the odds of living longer is exercise. And of the exercises that you can indulge in, weight training is one of the best.

The combination of weight training with aerobic exercise is the perfect team of exercises and practices to keep the body both flexible and active. They are also a good way to keep your body and mind young.

Researchers have shown that the more one exercises, the more he is able to control any number of diseases – such as high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, and others. But,without exercise, your risk of a wide assortment of chronic illnesses is increased.

We know destructive health practices will shorten your life. In the same way, improved health practices naturally ltends to extend longevity and enhance anti-aging measures that you may be indulging in. The more adept your body is at fighting infections and maintaining its health, the less stress is placed on the various organs of the body. And, of course, less stress leads to better health overall and thus, a longer lifespan.

To those that practice weight training, the exercise provides them with enormous relief from daily tensions. It also helps to improve the blood flow to many of the major organs of the body. As an added bonus, it helps to increase bone density as well.

Recently, a research study tracked five thousand seniors in an effort to determine the role of exercise on lifespan. It was found that those who exercised, even a little bit, extended their lifespan. And the more they exercised, the longer the span of life was extended. It just proves that even the tiniest bit of exercise can be a good thing.
