Idea #1: Asa Waters Mansion – Millbury, Massachusetts. The Asa Waters Mansion is one of the finest examples of Georgian Colonial style homes in the country. The mansion also has a lovely three level, free-standing spiral staircase. Asa Waters II and his brother, Elijah, were renowned as the “First Family of Arms Manufacturers.” The Mansion was entered into the National Historic Register in 1978.
Idea #2: The following are a few of the popular exhibits on the museum grounds. Nature trails are also another popular part of the EcoTarium. The Vibram Walking Trail loops around Lower Pond, while the Timescape Trail has interpretive signs for the hiker, and the Meadow Trail is a nice walk through some beautiful New England fields. The museum is open year round.
